Searching for Music Recordings

Searching for specific music recordings if you know the tricks of the catalog.

For example, in the Fusion + catalog, you can select Keyword searching and then select more options such as:

  • Location [e.g., Main Library, ISU Browsing Collection, ISU Music Listening Library]
  • Material Type [eg, Sound Record, Projected Medium]

The Fusion catalog allows you to search for CD material type from the libray homepage.  You can also perform searches within Fusion and limit to: Sound Record or Projected Medium

    Fusion & Fusion +

Use the Fusion Plus catalog as your first option for locating books, scores, microfilms, journal titles (but NOT articles), sound recordings, and videos owned by Indiana State University, as well as Web-based resources that are accessible via the catalog (electronic books and journals, databases).
