Like most universities, Indiana State University uses the Library of Congress Classification System to organize its materials. Books and other physical items are assigned Subject Headings to describe the content and a Call Number as a code to specify the location of the publication within the library. On average, a book is assigned about three Subject headings to describe all of its content. As you can guess, this is not always descriptive enough and sometimes students just need to go look at the book to see if it contains information on their topic.
You may click on the links below to see books which have been assigned that Subject Heading. Try any and all that seem related to your topic because Subject Heading assignment rules have occasionally changed over the years.
