Banned Books Week: Books about Censorship

Every September {and sometimes October}, the American Library Association and others sponsor this week to commemorate our right to read freely by highlighting banned and challenged books.

Books on Reserve during Banned Books Week

ISU students who are assigned to find a banned or challenged book may wish to consult one of these volumes.

These books list many classics and have detailed historical notes about their history as challenged materials. Each book contains a list of titles contained in the others.
