Reusables: Reusables Home

There are two ways to reuse these widgets.

First & Easiest: Locate the widget you want to use. In this case, I want to use the "Search A-Z Databases" widget located on the Reusables>Home page.

Step 1: Choose the location you would like your widget. Click on any spot where you can place a box.

Step 2:  Choose the "Reuse Existing Box" tab. Then under "Guide" find the guide where you can currently find that widget...in our case, it's the "Reusables" LibGuide...Then the following box let's you choose the box you've chosen from the guide... "Search A-Z Databases"

Step 3: Name your widget box and Save

Now you have your widget in place!

Note: You may need to refresh your page to get it to load properly.

Step 1:  Build a "Standard" Box, name it and Save

Step 2: Locate the widget you want to use and copy it's "source" code as shown in the example below

Step 3: Next go to the box you built in Step 1 and click on the Add/Reorder dropdown and choose "Media/Widget"

You will get a new box: Name your widget, and paste the code into the 2nd box and click Save & Close

Now you should have your widget in place! Congratulations!
