Motorsports: Sanctioning Bodies

Since its birth in 1904, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, the FIA, has been dedicated to representing the interests of motoring organisations and motor car users throughout the world. It is also the governing body of motor sport worldwide.

The MSA is recognised as the sole governing body of motor sport in Great Britain by the world governing body, the Federation Internationale de L Automobile (FIA)
