Society of St. Andrew

EndHunger.org leads you to the Society of St. Andrews' site, which claims to be America's Premier Food Rescue & Distribution Ministry  - site includes a running clock that indicates the amount of food wasted in the U.S. since you loaded the page. Links to major sites, reports. It has 3 food programs: the Gleaning Network, Harvest of Hope, and the Potato & Produce Project.

End Hunger Network

The End Hunger Network was founded by actor Jeff Bridges (and others) in 1983. On its home page: works with the entertainment industry and other partners to create and support media projects, programs and events to raise awareness and generate action to end U.S. child hunger.

This organization is currently participating with Share Our Strength in its No Kid Hungry national campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015

Sponsors a number of events, including Live Aid, U.S. Presidential Hunger Awards, Primetime to End Hunger.

No Kid Hungry

No Kid Hungry is part of Share Our Strength (founded 1984) and has information and resources on Food Insecurity, Summer Nutrition, School Breakfast and SNAP.
