The Human Relations Are Files (eHRAF) contain a wealth of information you won't find elsewhere. They can be searched in a variety of ways, and many of the resources included are indexed at the paragraph level, permitting you to find information specifically tailored to your needs. Unfortunately, the interface is not very intuitive. This LibGuide will walk you through the various search methods so that you can obtain the best information in the least amount of time. Until you get used to the interface, you may want to open this LibGuide in one browser tab and open the database in another tab to enable you to quickly get help.
The eHRAF database is divided into two broad areas: World Cultures and Archaeology. Unfortunately, ISU does not have a subscription to the Archaeology database. If you attempt to use it, you will be taken to a login page which - unless you have a personal subscription - won't work for you.
