Applied Health Sciences students will use many of the medical/health indexes that other HHS students use, as well as general social sciences materials. Most of the students are taking public health courses. AHS 341 is the Health Sciences Research Methods class. They do 1) an annotated bibliography of at least 10 peer-reviewed social science journal articles; 2) a research proposal project that builds upon the annotated bibliography project.
While AHS students need medical/health resources, topics wander into other areas, so individual students may need some of the titles below, depending on their specific research topics.
